Transform your Tuner with a DAC Module Upgrade
It is now possible to upgrade all Magnum Dynalab tuners with our pioneering Digital-to-Analog Conversion module (or include as an option on new tuners), turning your FM tuner into a multi-functional audio device. Currently accommodating a co-axial S/PDIF input, you can use the proprietary analog circuitry found in all Magnum Dynalab products as a source to produce pure, transparent audio from any digital device capable of outputting a co-axial S/PDIF signal.
Our 24-bit/192kHz upsampling and upconverting DAC is the result of continuous testing and refinement. The circuitry is all-time upconverting, which ensures that all incoming signals are boosted to 24/192, assembling the necessary digital signal for fine audio performance.
The selected components are nothing short of the world's best. The front end of the board is driven by the CS8416 192kHz Digital Audio Receiver from CIRRUS Logic. When combined with the SRC 4192 upsampling op-amp positioned before the audio-rendering PCM 1794 (a 200kHz current output Delta-Sigma over-sampling DAC from Texus Instruments), the result is a perfectly clocked, incredibly accurate signal that is virtually jitter-free.
